The 2022 Houston Methodist Cy-Hoops Invitational is set for Dec. 8-10. Catch the Final Four Fan Jam on Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Berry Center.

CFISD seeks input from all stakeholders in updating the 2022-2023 Student Handbook and Code of Conduct. The deadline to submit suggested changes is Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023.

Throughout the month of November, several CFISD departments celebrated the season of giving by collecting, providing and donating Thanksgiving-related items to students and families in need.

Four CFISD staff members and two student lifeguards were recognized on Nov. 15 for their decisive actions and American Red Cross training in helping preserve the life of two different students.

“Freaky Thursday” returned for the Cypress Falls band, allowing students in the band or color guard to invite someone to join them for a Thursday practice.
