In order to qualify for the Excellence in Ethics Scholarship, applicants must:  Be a lawful U.S. permanent resident or citizen; Be currently enrolled in or accepted to a US law school; Submit a completed essay discussing the importance of pro-bono legal work; Submit a completed application.

To apply for the scholarship, applicant must be a student currently enrolled at a college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in the United States. Applicants must be studying or planning to study the fields of science (excluding social sciences i.e. economics), engineering, mathematics, or technology.

Any female undergraduate or graduate student in Texas who is pursuing STEM, political science, or social science may apply for this scholarship. To apply, tell how you hope to help the world by using your passion, education, and experience.

Any high school or undergraduate student who has at least a 3.0 GPA and is from a single-parent household may apply for this scholarship if they have volunteering experience and plan to pursue at least a bachelor’s degree.  To apply, tell how growing up in a single-parent home has affected you and your academic journey and how this scholarship will help you achieve your goals.

Eligible students will: Write an essay of no fewer than 800 words about your opinion on the importance and efficacy of the 7th Amendment and how it affects your life. Consideration for the entirety of the Amendment (rather than the well-known nutshell explanation of the right to trial by jury) is encouraged.

Applicant Eligibility: Minimum GPA of 3.0 (unweighted); Swim coach experience for at least 2 years (must be a swim coach the summer following high school graduation); One swimming reference letter (for example, from a swim coach or leader in community-no family members, please); One other reference letter (no family members please); Copy of SAT/ACT scores (in the event you are not required to take these exams, please contact us via email); Official high school transcript; Proof of Acceptance to an accredited 4-year college or university.

Must be planning a career in elementary or secondary education. Upload a video that tells the story of a teacher who had an impact on you and what you learned from that person that you’d like to pass on to the students you will teach.
To qualify, applicants must be enrolled in a teacher preparation program in the US for the upcoming academic year and be able to demonstrate financial need.

High school seniors and current college students planning to attend college or another form of post-secondary education for the full school year following the submission period are eligible to apply. Eligible institutions include but are not limited to four-year universities, community colleges, institutes of technology and accredited credential or certificate programs.

To be eligible for this scholarship, students must volunteer within their communities, and be enrolled in a post-secondary institution for the upcoming academic year. This includes high school students who are dually enrolled in an institution of higher education; high school graduates or GED equivalency; students enrolled in a trade school; or students pursuing an associate’s, bachelor’s, or post-graduate degree.  Have a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 grading scale (equivalent GED scores accepted).
