The CFISD 2024-25 Instructional Calendar Committee requests your feedback on a
few items related to the 2024-25 Instructional Calendar. The survey will be active through noon on Feb. 2, 2024.
Dr. Amy Frank, principal at Owens ES, was named the first principal for CFISD’s 59th elementary school.
Chris Brister, head football coach and campus athletic coordinator at Cypress Falls HS, was one of 15 statewide winners of the University Interscholastic League (UIL) 2023 Sponsor Excellence Award.
The Cypress Falls HS cheerleading team won the national championship at the National Cheerleading Association (NCA) High School Nationals.
Three CFISD robotics teams earned awards in the Bridgeland High School VEX Robotics Competition (VRC) Over Under Open on Jan. 20 at the Berry Center.
Dr. Doug Killian, CFISD superintendent of schools, was among those inducted onto the Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce 2024 Board of Directors.
Representatives from Imagine Learning visited Walker ES to surprise fifth grade student Royce Rodriguez Amaya as one of five grand prize winners nationwide in the 17th annual Imagine Math Winter MATH-a-Thon contest.
Cypress Lakes HS sophomore Jada Stelmach and Cypress Ranch HS junior Lyla Isra won first place in their respective competition divisions at the seventh annual CFISD High School Cupcake Battle.
CFISD was given the Community Partner of the Year award for continued efforts and support of the Employability Program.
