The CFISD Athletics Department is committed to offering diverse and enriching athletic programs, each designed to foster in every student athlete the growth of physical, mental, emotional, social, and moral strengths.
2026 CFISD Athletic Physical Dates
All CFISD student-athletes must have a current physical before any try out practice, athletic class, open gym, open weight room, athletic competition or travels with a CFISD athletic team for any purpose.

May 15, 2025—The Cypress Woods High School baseball team advanced past the area round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs to move on to the region semifinal round this week, while Cy-Fair High School concluded their season as area finalists.

May 15, 2025—Jersey Village High School senior Daniela Palmeros tied for sixth place at the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Golf State Tournament on April 28-29 at White Wing Golf Club in Georgetown.

April 30, 2025—CFISD track and field teams will send seven girls’ entries and seven boys’ entries to the UIL Track and Field State Meet, May 1-3 at Mike A. Myers Stadium at the University of Texas in Austin. The Class 6A events will be May 3. Athletes qualified after placing in their respective events at the Region II-6A meet at Waco Midway High School and Region III-6A meet at Clear Creek ISD’s Challenger Stadium.
